An interesting place to be during a gale



Keiss Castle stands on sheer cliffs overlooking Sinclair’s Bay less than one mile north of Keiss village centre, Caithness, Highland, Scotland.

  2. I bet that bit of land extended farther into the ocean when that building was put up!

    1. I bet the building was more extensive as well - I think you can see the remnants of a wall on the far side of the building that is on the cliff. Many castles in the UK have those 'wall stubs' where the walls came down but you can see where they were attached
