  1. Someone loses an eye? Not to worry, it ain't a Red Ryder BB gun.

  2. That's why it's a good idea to wear a retention belt.

  3. I’d give him a 7.6, too much flaying in the air and he really didn’t stick that landing at all...

  4. I was trained on forklifts, telescoping an scissor lifts. This guy was
an accident waiting to happen. We were taught to avoid this very scenario.
My preference was a simple rope lanyard instead of the newfangled play-
out type lanyards attached to a safety harness.

    1. oh, I learned to really like the decent reel system and an ma-1 harness after getting blown off the tail of a C-5A in Oklahoma. It's a long, long way down and its a good thing to fall slooowly. managed to not break any bones. The Comms shop tech needed help getting off the tail after I blew over the edge. She was bananas and was locked up to the safety harness. I climbed up and showed her I was all good. getting back on the horse that threw me and all that.
the lift operator in the video was stupid.

    2. I should have added the operator was ejected vertically so if the
lanyard played out enough, he would have likely hit the ground
      hard anyway.

  5. I get on these once in a while, your supposed to have a belt on attached to the basket.
Good thing the controls once you let go return to neutral
