Saw them in South-East Ireland about 20 years ago being trucked, but they were laying flat on a long low-loader (flatbed).
Are they on the way to the dump? That's where they end up in a few years.
True, as they can't be recycled. The whole wind turbine takes more energy to produce than they will ever generate.
They bare a strange resemblance to leaf cutter ants marching down the trail.
Train came through town the other day with about 50 of these, on special cars. Long!

It almost physically hurts me to see those devastating things. How many birds have they chopped up, and all for nothing!
