I like the Cadillac one, top left

  1. Amazing how many knife handle styles and shapes are manufactured while the human hand has one form. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

I've never seen that Cadillac knife before. Part of a five classic car collection manufactured by Franklin Mint. The model honors the 1959 Cadillac El Dorado.

  3. I designed that Caddy knife when I was Design Director of the Franklin Mint. We made a shit load of cool knife series back in the late'80s - Vettes, Rods, Chevys, Caddies, Richard Petty, John Deere, Field & Stream, Colt, Winchester, etc. Fun as hell to work on & they were a huge hit. The Mint sold over $70 million dollars worth of series knives the 1st year!? Sad part of this story is that Rick W. the young gifted artist that illustrated that Caddy, was killed in his Turboed Viper that he bought from $ earned illustrating cool cars like that Caddy.
