  1. I remember that works building, it was an amazing place with the remnants of the crane tracks which went the length of the building. I was there in the early 1980’s when it was used as an EU intervention grain store, totally empty except for huge piles of grain.

  3. Notice the stepped, interrupted locking rings. I always wondered how they machined them into the breech, and the plug.

  5. Those seem to be awfully small hand tools for working on something that makes a behemoth like that. I've been around some pretty heavy machinery but the mind boggles at making something like that gun barrel.
