And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I like the coming of fall. We deeply insulated our getaway in Lower Yakims Valley and even on cooollldd mornings it's good. Smell of wood smoke, last grass cutting, stoking up the wood pile, final garden harvest, putting things to bed. Good time of year. Until Spring, my other fave rave time of year.

Man, look at those colors ... awesome picture. Old Ford stepside pickup is just frosting on the cake, the reflection of leaves on fender is a cool effect !
