I have seen literally hundreds of F-35s wintering in El Mirage, AZ a few miles NE of Luke AFB, but have never seen one doing this. You can go to the north end of the runway and whatever is flying is 40 feet over your head, whether climbing out or landing.

ReplyDeleteOnly the Marine version has VTOL capability, if you are seeing them at an AFB they are probably not the type that can.
ReplyDeletemy company builds the Ground Data unit. software will have the F35 controlling five drones at the same time. Skynet is real.
ReplyDeleteSometimes they can even fly.
ReplyDeleteToured the F-35 assembly line a few Saturdays ago when the place was mostly empty. Very impressive. I wish my shop had 0.01% of the capability.
