And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
In my yoot I had a Ducati dirt bike; I hated to lean it too far, the footpegs were solid steel bolted to the frame.
I learned to roll off the bike when it went down, and also how to weld; hinges on the pegs made life so much better! I was never that elegant coming off my bike though, that guy does make it look easy!
He handled that well.
