And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Its very popular for that reason. My scope on deer rifle is 2.5x-8x but 99% of the time, its left on 5x. I hunt in closed cover and hardly have time to change to higher or lower and find 5x is my sweet spot.

DeleteHave a VX-3 in 3.5 x 10. Used it at 10x to take two Speedy Goats at 400 yds in under a minute somewhere west of Laramie. Very nice scope.
