Some people like to risk death by living on "the edge". I happen to be one. I live on the edge of a bar stool. I realize I'm gonna die someday, and I'm hoping it's before the bar tab comes due.
That came into being after I lived through the jumping out of airplanes phase of my life, but I would have done it, had it been available. How else can you feel what it's like to be an eagle?
It's possible to fly up with a wingsuit more then 300f. Also the glide ratio that can be sustained in the speeds they are flying at the good pilots can hold a 1:1 GR for more then 15 seconds. Just saying!
3 feet forward, 1 foot down, once you are to speed.

ReplyDeleteNot exactly flying. More like falling, with style.
ReplyDeleteGeez, even a flamed out F-4 has a 12' forward for 1' down glide ration, and it was a brick.
ReplyDeleteNOPE!
ReplyDeleteThree foot forward for one foot down?
ReplyDeleteThat's nothing. I could go straight down, but I try not to brag. Easy as falling out of an airplane!
