The IDF practice of firing a missile at a civilian home to warn the occupants to leave the building before a larger attack, has been caught on film. Amnesty International has decried “roof knocking,” saying it in no way constitutes an “effective warning.” Bull. That couldn't be more effective. Boom! You have about minute to get the H. out.
A YouTube video uploaded on Saturday shows how a Palestinian house is struck by a warning shot before being destroyed about a minute later by a full missile attack. Check this out.
Maybe the Palestinians should stop shooting rockets at Israel and kidnapping young people? Nah, they won't do that.
ReplyDeleteTo paraphrase Caligula: "Oh but the Palestinians had but one neck, that I might slit it."
ReplyDeleteWe are fortunate that the natives here do not adopt the same practices for stealing of what was their homeland. This will go on until none are left on one side or the other. Neither having the high moral ground in my opinion....
ReplyDeleteThe Indians here don't behave like the Palestinians because they were soundly defeated in a war of conquest, and they knew it. The Palestinians do not think they have been defeated, and behave accordingly. If the Israelis want some peace, they need to stop being so considerate, and engage in a Jacksonian war of total devastation, until the Palestinians themselves decide that they have lost. Only then will there be a peace that both sides can benefit from, should they decide to. Someone has to win this war, not prolong it with such behavior as we see in this video.
DeleteCollective punishment. We hanged a bunch of Germans for practicing that.
ReplyDeleteA small difference in Germany. The Jewish citizens weren't lobbing rockets at their fellow German citizens.
DeleteWhile you are certainly correct in your statement about Jewish Citizens, I think Mr. Mallory was referring to the tendency of the Nazis to kill entire villages if a Nazi Soldier was killed in the town by partisans (e.g. Lidice for the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich on June 10th 1942.
DeleteI believe you are correct, Sir. Sometimes my perspective leads me down the wrong path. I apologize for my error.
