Bariloche is a VERY cool place. At many levels, That's what it looks like in summer.AND that cabin is sited in a gully next to a river. Wanna bet how many times water flowed through it?
Indeed it is. Best chocolate in the world, for one thing. And extraordinary backpacking for another. I have spent weeks there with pack and tent. Here is a photo of my students at Frey taken 15 years ago:http://mikeaustin.org/AAA/My%20Pictures/Bariloche%201/MIKE+0/Resting_at_Refugio_Frey.jpg
Very interesting use of building materials! Love the stone doorway and the red shutters. And you have chocolate, too - lucky students!
