  4. I cheeped out and got the lower deck porthole room one time. The porthole was right at the head of the bed. The first port of call was a tendered port and as the wife and I were having sex the tender boat was lowered down right past our window. Nobody was in it to see us but we didn't know that at the time, and you really don't expect to see a tender boat going down just a few feet from your window.

  5. Seawater outside the porthole is not so bad.
    Seawater inside the cabin on the deck is rather more disconcerting.
