And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Seriously, who has EVER spent a day at worked that was more fun than that looks? Seriously. (Leaving out of course the horrible brain damage that Curly actually suffered from all he allowed the others to do to him).
I've found people either LOVE the Stooges or HATE them vehemently. There's little middle ground. I personally love them and have since I was 2 years old (or so I was told.)
Yep, the Three Stooges were definitely part of my first outrageous outbursts of hilarity amongst others. But when I grew up it was the fabulous idiocy of WC Fields that made me think about why I was enjoying myself so much.

ReplyDeleteI've seen the acting.
ReplyDelete1) It was the Depression.
2) Most of them were still overpaid.
Yes. This was the scene where Curly had his first stroke on the set.
ReplyDeleteThey got him in the Amblamps and kept on filming without him.
