And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? A few pieces of 932 or 954 rod (bronze, not brass) and an hour on the lathe will fix you right up. Could do brass, too, but it'll mushroom faster. Way cheaper though.
Until you need one, just a smidge smaller or bigger as the case may be. Snap-On used to have/may still have a 7 mm punch that was perfect for the pins in plastic conveyor chain where I used to work. No one else had a right-size punch.
I am good on steel punches I need a set of brass punches.

DeleteNice set, and they make a bunch of alternatives. Although I gotta say, "metric" when it comes to chisels and punches sounds kinda weird.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite "metric" is the metric crescent wrench.
