  1. Many years ago we spent Christmas in San Felipe. The tides were very similar to this. We would tie the fishing line to the aluminum boat if we came in at low tide. Then just reel it in as allowed by rising water.

  3. Where, I wonder. Not too common to see LCTs except around the equatorial regions, in my experience & this looks like one.

    2. Thanks for that! Ironically enough, the last time I saw a LCT like that was just a few hundred miles away, in Bintuni Bay, Papua. We were using them to transport food and construction materials because they worked better than barges.
