And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Okinawa (1982-1983, I forget which municipality) had an upstairs joint (coffee, alcohol) called "Play Bach's". It had a wall of speakers, and possibily hundreds of albums. Patrons could select what they wanted to hear. Invariably someone would ask for the 1812 Overture, and it was a treat to watch the big bass drivers flex in and out when the cannons would go off.
I enjoyed hanging out in such places in Seoul.
