And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Actually Ghosty ol' boy, if you look up Scythian mounted warriors and go to images, there are more than a few with hats/helmets very similar to the one in the pic and they're on just like this one.
I looked for "Scythian mounted warriors", I read about them first then I went to look at the pictures. The "who they were" was more interesting than the artist's guess on what they looked like.
There have been a lot of changes over the centuries in who's who & where...something we need to keep in mind.
