  1. No i belongs in one of many beautiful lakes in the Adirondacks imo.

  2. I wonder if the farm girl would like a boat day after the fields are tilled. I'll pack a cooler and lunch.

  3. Tahoe - clearest lake ever, no 2-cycle engines allowed.

    1. And a U.C Davis 'scientist' has a permanent, full-time job cruising the lake on a small yacht monitoring the lake's clarity, for which he is paid almost $400,000 a year.
Nice work if you can get it. Which you can't, if you're not a Leftist U.C. Davis professor.

    2. Wow! But that's Cali. UC Davis is a 1st Rate Ag School that bred the "plastic tomato". Tasteless, to say the least.

We haver a small greenhouse with tomato plants, some peppers and one raspberry bush. Other hardier peppers can stay outside, as are our cilantro & oregano plants. The GH peppers & raspberry go back to our front porch in early February.

We're on a peninsula w/ salt marshes on both sides. Windy all the time. Average high/low in our county is 61/41 in late December/Mid-January.

  4. Tahoe can be glass, or it can kick your ass. Best go for a spin at dawn and come back before noon.

  5. Always wanted to build something similar in my wood shop. Takes too long and take up a lot of space.
