    1. I wonder how much Ferrari charges for an air filter for that car?

  2. They put V-12's in those? Must be a gas to drive hard.

  6. a friend of mine owned one many years back...his was serial no 41. saw the engine apart....had hairpin valve springs....yes...V-12....his was a coupe..very rare at only 4 bodys made by nino farina.....I lost track of the guy and he died in the late 70s.
He also had a couple pre war Mercedes....500K and 540K?....this guy was a goofy bachelor, no wife or kids...lived in a garage in an old bathroom for a bedroom...very weird guy...fun to talk to though. He was a killer good tool and die maker by trade, so never was hurting for money. Funny, there are living legend kinda guys out there and when they die, it all just vanishes....

    1. that is a a great loss of knowledge. Same thing will happen to this generation as all the old-timers die off.
