And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Took my wife to King's Canyon National Park in the Sierras camping in the late 70s and it is extremely rural. The first night a bear visited and she was melting down. I told her to calm down. The bear left as he was looking for food and I had it safely away in the trunk of the car away from the tent. She said this was the last time she was going camping.
What a shame such a beautiful state is run by lunatics.
