And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I have an Ugly Stick from the early 80's with a Zebco 888 that came with it. I just re-strung it with 25 lb Spyderwire. It is the light rod for ocean fishing.
I have about a dozen medium action ugly sticks that I have bought over the last 20 years. They have landed every type of salmon in Alaska and one 40 pound halibut. The only one that broke was the one I slammed in the car door.
I have an Ugly Stik that I purchased in the early 70's. Currently has a Shakespeare spinning reel on it.
