The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Slalom course. Pass thru the gate, 3 right buoys, 3 left buoys, pass thru the gate. 8 points. 2 runs for 16 total. 36 mph. Then shorten the rope. 15 off then 22, 28, 32, 35, 38, 39.5, and 41shortened from a 75 foot. Ski until someone missed and gets eliminated. I skied for the University of Florida '79. I could still do 15 off well into my 40s. I wake surf now. Can't handle a wipe out from slalom.
Oh the old days. Lived on a private ski lake with a pair of slalom courses. Best I ever managed was 1@35 off. Skis have come a long way since then, would love to see how far I’d have gotten with my current HO V-Type R. Way more forgiving and lighter than what I skied back then.
