And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The bridge from that movie is an hours drive from C W. Highway 89, north of 299. As you drive north, it’s to your right as you cross over the water at Lake Britton. It just a bit past the Burney Falls park entrance. Surprisingly, it looked a lot more impressive in the movie. It’s abandoned now, no more trains travel on it.
Years ago did a little bungee jumping off a train trestle that looked a lot like that in a mountainous area that looked a lot like that.

Not high steel bridge, possibly vance creek bridge. They are both on the same route.
