And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Yep. Must say, though, that at today's prices for half inch black iron, there must be $40 bucks worth of Home Depot in that plus the cost of the clock. At $60, it's selling for the (retail) cost of the parts. Which is a typical problem: I've got a machine shop, and I buy stuff I could easily make because the cost of materials exceeds the cost of the finished item. Never mind my time.
