    1. I'm old, a '51 model. Been wearing cowboy hats for many decades, lived/live in the country (sometimes town or city adjacent). I've never heard, seen, figured out any reason for a backwards cowboy hat. I WILL turn my boony cap backwards when the front gets saturated with sweat, that's reasonable.

  5. Looks like the Texas Panhandle. She looks like the girls I grew up with. The real deal with no make-up and the hat is not backwards. Very rarely is one dipped more in the rear, those are old worn out hats. The brim is dipped on the front much more than the rear,,,,, like hers' is.
