  3. On the starboard side port rudder pedal are the letters "SON," so I suppose the aircraft is a Stinson.

  4. Al Gore's amazing interweb coughed up what was described as a cockpit photo of a Stinson SR-5A Reliant which matches the above. (but not nearly as gorgeous as the above example)

  5. That instrument panel would like at home in a Packard or Rolls-Royce. I've never see toe straps on rudder pedals before.

    1. It's on the ground, notice the lightpole or maybe ship's mast outside the right hand window. Since this is a taildragger, the view is skyward.
