And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

It doesn’t look fretless to me. Neither Geddy or The Ox were known to use anything more than 4 string instruments as their usual setup, but it could be something they’d use on occasion. Tony Levin went through a long phase with a 5 string rig and there have been several other notable players. It could be anyone really, but it does look like the strings are popping.
