  2. I spend my summers just north of there, the BC East Kootenay, on the Kootenay river itself, 20 miles north of 49.

    You Yanks spell it as Kootenai on the Montana side.

    Whatever.

    Wouldn't want to be out there in Winter though - pretty sure the weather is rather brisk ! Hardy folks they are with living in it.
