  3. The horizontal stabilizer is above the turret so it's a Halifax bomber. The Lancaster had the same turret made by Frazer Nash, an English sports car maker.

    I'd rather be shot at by that than a .50.

  5. Imagine the trade-off before every single bombing mission, how many machine gun rounds are we taking along in lieu of bombs? Just think how much that ammo weighed.
