  1. There's definitely a Neiman Marcus in the rear view mirror.

    Spent $100k on gear and uses a rock to shim the whole thing level? my guess is that a mental note has been made to install a hydraulic leveling system for the next time they pretend to "rough it".

  5. Never understood the tent on top of vehicle thing, you have to break it down to go anywhere. Seems too inconvenient.

    1. If you are just spending the night somewhere you just unfold it & fold it up in the morning.
      There was a guy who took a Toyota around the world (https://transworldexpedition.com/) and I remember him camped in Bangladesh on a sidewalk like that for a night.
