And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I find it amusing that these things always hype how often you can recharge your cell phone or perhaps run a fan. Things that keep you alive, not so much. For perspective, this will allow you to use a hotplate to cook as long as it doesn't take more than 15 minutes. (About three hours of fan time though.)
Big disappointment. My 2k takes 2 days to charge & runs the tv/dvd for 3 hrs. Thought I'd get way more summer sun but only May/June were really productive.
The selling point is "pure sine wave". If it actually is that, and only that, rather than some chinesium English-challenged version of Not Even Close To That, that's a selling point for plugging in sensitive electronics.
Most "sine wave"-billed power supplies and inverters are no such thing, which you'll find out when you try to run laptops, etc. in a remote location.
Eh, it's a battery, A small, expensive one. Better: buy a 600W inverter for your vehicle for $40-120 and get the same capabilities.
ReplyDeleteOoooh ! A Power Station ! Ooooh ! So much sexier than just a battery with plugs.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the Patriot Power generator? Looks like that, comes with a solar panel for charging & is $3000. It's a battery too.

ReplyDeleteHave 1150 watts of panels getting 25-65 watts except for midday when I get 600. Not allowed to trim trees.
ReplyDeleteI've always been less than impressed with that brand.
