And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I recognize that garment from the FBI wanted list of perloined items. Sam Brinton stole her outfit out of a suitcase at the Haneda airport baggage carousel.
@ bogsidebunny speaking of gender, I wouldn't like to bet the photo is of a she; I can't see the hands, I can't see the musculature of the arms or the legs. I can see the ears which are atypically large even for a male face, but as I said, I wouldn't like to put money either way.
I'd say Japanese, based on the long, asymmetrical bamboo bow and the style of the stirrups. If you have 3-1/2 hours to kill watch The Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa, it's a great movie. Then watch the original Magnificent Seven with Mcqueen, Coburn and Bryner. Al_in_Ottawa

Both the Magnificent Seven and A Fistful of Dollars were freely admitted to be based on Kurosawas Seven Samuri and Yojimbo
