And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Badgers and coyotes are known to hunt together. I was lucky enough to see this in action. Badger will start digging up a rodent den and the coyote cleans up any rodent that tries to escape from side tunnels. Not that unusual to see them traveling together.
I saw them working together once in the desert. Following each other through the brush in broad daylight. It turns out they often form an alliance. Fast prey gets caught by the coyote and anything escaping down a hole the badger gets.
I once witnessed a coyote and badger tangle up. The coyote did not win.
