    1. Those Swedish island homes all look alike so they are probably poured concrete so water washes in and out, no problem. Flimsy tropical huts blow down but the natives build them fast.

  8. What about water. I see one tank, water fuel? Mendocino is as crowded and on a solid rock as well and there are water towers everywhere.

      I'm sure all the utilities come from the mainland via underwater lines. It's not that far away from the larger land mass. Ditto for effluent, unless they just "let it go" because the solution to pollution is dilution
