And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

NorCal Challengers Trip to the Lassen Steakhouse
Ten Challengers from Redding south to Vina on I-5 and then 99. A beautiful drive. Expansive walnut orchards all along the way. Must be a lot of money in walnuts.
When we used to sell our cattle at Shasta Livestock Market we'd always take the back roads between Oroville and Red Bluff. My favorite part of the trip, besides the migratory birds in the flooded rice fields, was how amazingly productive all the lands were along the way. Most people probably wouldn't even think about it but I knew how much work went into all those crops.
Does anybody with early challengers show up? Does anybody in your group have 1? Not dismissing the current offerings of challengers except for the v6 models, but it would be neat to see 1 or 2 in the group.
My neighbor has a 70 aar cuda he bought many years ago before the collector car market went crazy. The only options on it are rear speaker, am radio, automatic and a passenger side rear view mirror.
It is unrestored, 41k miles and still looks showroom fresh.
340 car. I believe all aar's were 340 so as to compete in trans am racing series. Mustangs, Camaros and Amc cars were limited to 340 or 360 cubic inches.
The classic New York strip steaks are also known as a shell steak, a boneless club steak, a top loin, a strip loin steak, a sirloin, a veiny steak, an Omaha strip, an ambassador steak, or a hotel-style steak. These are some of the other frequent names for these cuts of beef
By all means, jettison the NY part of the name and change the culture
Looks like fun!

I'm always a sucker for Prime Rib, and will take it over a 'Choice' NY Strip any day. But if the NY Strip is 'Prime' - then it's on the plate.
ReplyDeleteNo spaghetti or chili?
ReplyDeleteFolks talk about a rib eye but I think the NY strip is the one. I only wish it was called something else
ReplyDeleteI'll choose a Porterhouse every single time. The best of both worlds.
DeleteNo prices? I guess they are adjustable.
