    1. first glance thought it a C-47 for sure. A second look revealed it to be too "plump" so thought maybe a Curtis C-46. But the front side hatch didn't mesh with either ship! Finally sleuthed a bit more and decided on a Fairchild C-119 "Flying Boxcar". In any event, the old gal has been picked like a chicken.

  5. #5: Circuit racing is one thing but cross-country "stump jumping" is another. Hurtful to see a Poorche suffer such indignity.
