And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I actually worked on that Hawg. 81-0960. We had it and it’s brother, 81-0961, in the squadron. I wanna say the 510 TFS at RAF Bentwaters, 1984-86, but that’s not ringing right in my head. May have been the 92nd, same place, 1991-93. Anyone else remember? Help an old crew chief out….
Got there in 82, started out at Woody in the 78th. Left in 86, went to Det 1 at Sembach in 89. Shut that down in 91 and ended up back at Bentwaters till it closed in 93. Fun, fun times!
