  1. In the olden days, we were told not to allow your optics to be left with lenses toward sky, lest the sun use its rays to wreak havoc on the scope innards. Maybe that has changed now - so many things have changed.

    2. Hard to tell from this photo but it may have one of those honeycomb lens covers that reduces glare in addition to the anti-glare coating on the Aimpoint optic glass.
