And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

No kidding. Now we have to defend our gas stoves against the Democrats.
The problem is that the Executive Branch, i.e. the Administrative State. Jordan and Massie are introducing legislation that controls the Federal Bureaucracy and stops them - unaccountable career bureaucrats - from concocting legislation. The only body authorized to write law is the US Congress. This legislation will re-codify that Constitutional fact, and relegate all Administrative regulation- - like gas stoves, pistol braces, etc etc - to becoming 'recommendations' instead of enforceable law. HIgh Time. Write, call, email, and badger Your Congressmen!
I've been wanting a gas stove for years, and now this cements it. Unfortunately, they're fucking with the cost of gas, and they will continue to do so. Such a dilemma...
I've got a 1946 Okeefe & Meritt... that makes it 77 years old... and it works like a charm. And it's an artistic presence, too. Bought it back in 1990 and if I ever vacate this house I built I'm taking it with me.
