And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
As I type this looking out my windows at the Pikes Peak mountain range I've never seen so much snow here in Colorado...It's not very deep but 40 miles of mountains white from top to bottom. Few days ago phone went off about winter snow squall warning.

ReplyDeleteI lived on the west side of Pikes Peak and got tired of shoveling snow and chopping wood. So I moved to Calif and got snowed in for a week.
DeleteThe 70s had good snow packs along the Front Range and guys older than I am said that the late 50s to early 60s were amazing.
