And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Off Topic: Could you repost a picture from way back maybe a few months ago but from with in the last year... me thinks.....
It was a picture of a mom and in the back seat was a line of children packed in like sardines....Maybe an old VW bug... The image stuck in my brain. it was the best picture but I can't find it with the search function....... I want to share with my friend who wrote this post:
You won't find cool rigs like that one in colorado no more. Instead a bunch of fat ass people driving 30grand side by sides. The way of the world. 2023 our wonderful state gov passed a new law called "Keep Colorado Wild". This jan all license plates have a added 29$ parks pass fee included with every renewal. Used to cost 80$ to get window sticker. They want to flood parks with cars until there's no more room and you will have to make a reservations for future visits. And as unbelievable as this is the fags have renamed Pikes Peak to the new name: America's Mountain. Since then I noticed they took the sign down. When the first I-25 road sign with the new name went up I almost crashed the car.
Ah, the Alpine loop. Over Engineer Pass, stop for ice cream in Lake City, then back over Cinnamon Pass. Take the easy road to Silverton then over Red Mountain Pass to Ouray for a dip in the hot springs and pick a lovely restaurant for dinner and drinks.
Those signs look pretty new and fresh.
ReplyDeleteRelatively recent Arizona plate, too.

ReplyDeleteI see where they wanted to rename it Tava Peak the Ute indians name. But Americas Mountain was just a nickname tourist thing.
DeleteYeah a reservation is now required to drive up the Peak. I hate liberals.
DeleteI hate the overpopulation that is causing it.
DeleteReservations needed in some Nevada parks, imagine soon it’ll be all

ReplyDeleteBad Day at Black Rock
ReplyDeleteMy wife and I drove both of those in 1992. Then, we took Ophir Pass from Ouray to Telluride. Some of the most beautiful stuff I've ever seen!
