  4. Just a drilled well that hit an underground void formerly filled with water, old submersible well pump. The well should have been abandoned as soon as the void was encountered since the water is normally no good. Another bore conducted away from the void would have probably found good groundwater.

  5. The old pipe and cable suggests that it was a submersible pump that fell down the cased hole. I wonder what state this was in. Doesn't look like a mine to me, although it's almost impossible to tell one was or another. He should have put the GoPro on sideways and re-run it, to pan around the cavern with a side view..
