I think he meant for power. Saw an original at a coffee run parking lot show here in Knoxville (tn.) a couple of years ago. It had a Ford flathead V-8 for power. That was probably the most common engine as I remember from early hot rod mags when I was a kid. But man, was that cockpit tight! Bubbarust
There are many different classrs/categories that compete on the flats. The drop tanks are already aerodynamically built. Just add wheels,power and guy with guts.
...dunno about a "daily-driver", but I'd give good money to give it a spin.
