Dodge Challenger Shakedown kicks off number 1 of 7 'last call' special edition models.

The Dodge Challenger Shakedown will be unique: only 1,000 special-edition models are planned for production.  There will be 500 Dodge Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Packs in Destroyer Grey, and 500 Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack Widebodies in Pitch Black. Either one will rock.

CW advises to get the wide body.

  2. The dealers around me add a bonus premium to the Hellcats and other models that have the 707hp Hemi. I have a buddy that has an 05 SRT Magnum that has already reserved a wide body Super Bee.

The local Dodge dealership has lifetime drivetrain warranty if you have your car serviced there. My buddy's 6.1 Hemi spun a bearing 2 years ago with only 48k miles on it. Crate 6.1L engines were unobtanium and his block could not be rebuilt. The dealership put a 6.4L Hemi with a transmission that could handle it in the Magnum provided they could run it on the car show circuit. The dealership also freshened up the interior and polished the exterior so it looks showroom fresh. The extra 100 HP made that an amazing station wagon that has surprised a couple of Mustang GT and Camaro RS owners.

  3. Everybody here happy that there will never be any more V-8's mass-produced for muscle cars? Seems kinda strange, how docile American drivers are becoming. Here son, take your hybrid. You already can't get a V-8 in quite a few full-sized trucks anymore.

    1. If people would not buy the damn things, the EV and hybrid bool-shite would go away very quickly. Eff 'em, don't buy 'em.

    2. Agreed, Anon 4:25, and I'm doing my part. I want a new truck BAD but I just ain't paying what they are requiring. They need to half the price, then half it again at least 2 more times before I will even take a look. srsy, $30k for a truck? not bloody likely
