And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? When I was diving in Cozumel, the divemaster kept a Hawaiian sling and asked us to point out any lionfish we saw. He killed about four on the dive I was on that day. He broke the spines off and feed them to the nurse sharks and moray eels.
His stated goal was to teach the natives that lionfish can be eaten. All he accomplished was teaching moray eels and nurse sharks to harass divers.

I hope she survived her lion fish snack. Still, sharks, even reef sharks, are pretty tough, so I think she was probably just fine.
