Looks like a great setup for a couple of folks, but that pic makes me think it's a catalog pic, or whoever has it setup is going to be humpin' firewood every single day.
some of the winter camp gear today is amazing. I'm just against propane inside the tent....one thing this guy did well is avoiding the falling limbs/trees that the winds knock down during the night. real killers.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. Not taking advantage of any windbreaks either. Those new lightweight tent stoves with the collapsible pipes are pretty good.

True, but you can't really carry a cabin on your back into the wilderness.

ReplyDeleteKifaru 12 man tipi and stove weighs less than 20 lbs, packable by two but better with 3.
