    1. I got a feeling the blue angels took one look at that, and said;
      FTS, you win!

    2. I remember watching 3 Blue Angels follow the leader right into the ground.

    1. No it doesn't. It explains what happened. This explains what went wrong : https://www.f-16.net/f-16-news-article968.html and what they did about it, which I think was exactly the wrong way to fix that. They should zero altimeters before takeoff and do all maneuvers with reference to AGL. That way the altimeters read the same throughout the show no matter where they are. Converting to MSL for every show is stupid.

  6. For the remainder of his Thunderbird assignment, which ended in Jan 2004. Then 2 years as pilot career field manager (desk), then alternating flying, school, and staff jobs. I believe currently he is vice commander of the 9th Reconnaissance Wing (U-2 and RQ-4) at Beale AFB. He screwed upbuthe recovered.

  8. What I felt like as I was totaling my Road King last year. Except, no chute. That moment when you're still in the air is a real sphincter tightening experience.
