  2. Orange pendant on top called for. Or a bullet proof vest.

  3. Not sure about this one. Isn't animal vision different from human vision in certain ways?

  4. I think it could be very useful, and not simply for hunting.

  5. At what point does gear like this or those huts on stilts become plain killing rather than hunting?

    1. If you eat the meat, who cares? If you don't eat the meat, why are you doing either?

    2. I do eat meat and lots of it. But as of now, I prefer to pit my woodland skills against a highly wary and noble animal. Romantic? Traditionalist? Maybe but a serious challenge for sure. And I'm only doing it for the meat as I still don't have a good recipe for those things the bucks wear.

    3. Picturing the opening scene of Last Of The Mohicans as you’re describing hunting a noble animal.

  6. If you are looking to fill the freezer, this blind does not take away the effort to locate a trail that they will pass by. The hunter is limited to this one spot - that takes skill as well. Stalking game is more challenging, but you spread your scent quite a bit more and can ruin other hunter's efforts as well.

We all have our lines of 'Don't Go There'. Mine is hunting over bait (within sight of hunter). Legal in Texas, but I still hate it and wish it were outlawed. Feeders in view of the blind create more opportunities maybe too advantageous to the hunter. Feeders back in brush aren't nearly as bad to me.

This blind would be great for stealth camping. I don't know how well the boxy shape would be in windy conditions. Or a photo blind.

  7. All honest hunters should be required to use only a pointy stick or a rock as everything else like guns and knives is cowardly. Said nobody ever.
