And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I watched White Squall last night. I shed a tear when I first saw the ship. Magnificent!
I did a lot of sailing in the past. It was natural since I was raised on the blue waters. I was moving up and going places. If only I kept at it instead of hearkening the lure of a woman.

It is not an empty frame. The uncluttered blue horizon under her bows is proper.
ReplyDeleteHome port is the North Shore of St. Croix. Beautiful area, the south shore is the US Govt HQ & where cruises berth but is pretty much run down.
